Disconnecting is a sign for Growth!!
Early summer is often a season of outward bloom, but what about the quieter, invisible growth happening within us? Sometimes, the old parts of ourselves must fall away before we see the full beauty of what's new. If you notice yourself feeling disconnected from your past or from old versions of you, it isn't a sign of failure or regression. It can actually be a sign that you're growing. Many women in healing journeys experience periods of distance from who they used to be. This space is often necessary for transformation.
Useful insight: Your brain is wired to protect you. When you're healing, your nervous system may temporarily distance you from memories, places, or patterns that were once essential but are no longer safe or needed. This is a natural reset not a loss.
Some gentle ways to acknowledge your growth this June:
- List 3 qualities you admire in your current self
- Celebrate old boundaries you no longer need
- Spend time noticing what feels "Lighter", not just what's missing
Growth isn't always loud, sometimes it's in the gentle release of what no longer fits. Today, honor how far you've come, especially in quieter ways that others may not see.
